Who doesn’t know who Anthony Bourdain is? Im not posting because Mental Health does not discriminate. I’m posting because this hits close to home for me for the many attempts that I’ve had.
I thank God somehow I seem to make it back to my children who really needs me. But this illness is really horrible. It’s not the life we want to end, it’s the pain. When you’re in that space in that moment you’re not able to think. You can’t process. From a patient prospective “ME”.
ENOUGH SAID, THIS TOO MUCH FOR ME TO HANDLE ALL I CAN DO IS CRY AND PRAY FOR THIS ILLNESS TO END. 😥🙏🏼
ACCORDING TO CNN
“ Suicide is a growing problem in the United States. The US Centers for Disease Control and Prevention published a survey Thursday showing suicide rates increased by 25% across the United States over nearly two decades ending in 2016. Twenty-five states experienced a rise in suicides by more than 30%, the government report finds.
How to get help: In the US, call the National Suicide Prevention Lifeline at 1-800-273-8255. The International Association for Suicide Prevention and Befrienders Worldwide also can provide contact information for crisis centers around the world.
